Self Check-in Templates

You can use a Threads self check-in template as a starting point for your custom check-in questions.

Within the Build / Preview tab of your draft check-in collection, find the "Load Template" drop down on the bottom right hand side.

The load template drop down is accessible both in the preview and edit views. 

 

Threads Template Choices

Threads Self Review (Original)

This template is the original self-review in Threads.  It can be completed by the employee in 5-10 minutes and most organizations use this quarterly, semi-annually or annually prior to the Manager's review.

 

Career Development

The goals check-in template is meant for employees to provide an update on their goal progress and any adjustments that need to be made.  Organizations with defined goals/objectives typically use this template monthly, quarterly or semi-annually.

 

Goals Based Check-in

The career development check-in is an opportunity for the employee to assess their skills development and communicate with their manager about their career goals. Organizations typically perform career development check-ins annually during a time period based on their seasonality.

 

Succession Planning

The succession planning template should be sent to managers to identify the members of their team with leadership potential and their training needs.  Organizations usually perform succession planning check-ins annually in the quarter following completion of annual reviews.
