How Threads Value and Results scoring is determined

Step 1. Each criteria section is averaged:

The average for this section would be 7.8571428.

 

Step 2. The weight is applied to the average of each section

Let’s say we have 4 sections with the following averages and weights:

To apply weights to the four averages above, the average is multiplied by the weight:

Step 3. Lastly, to get the final score, the weighted averages are summed.

Please Note: Any section that is not scored (n/a) has its weighting distributed proportionally to the remaining sections.  

For example, if you had weightings of 25%, 25%, 20%, 20% and 10% and you left the 20% section as N/A, then the 20% would be distributed to the remaining 4 sections proportionally.  The new section weightings for the remaining 4 sections would be 31.25%, 31.25%, 25% and 12.5%.
